A month ago, today, I turned 16!!! It was so exciting!!! :D ha ha
The Saturday before my birthday, I got together with a few friends to go to an EFY Concert in Provo. So fun, right? (: When we got there, the place was DEAD. We were SO confused!! We had ordered tickets, gotten there early, and NOBODY was there. We finally called my dad, and he looked it up on the website. Unknown to us, the concert had been cancelled. Is that crazy or what?? Nobody even told us! :(

So, we had to come up with a plan B. I didn't have any ideas, though, because we hadn't thought to come up with something else to do if this didn't work out. We thought about it, and finally made a plan. First, we went to Forever XXI to try on some CRAZY outfits! :D It was great! Then, we all got to try on prom dresses!!! Ahhhh!!!! It was SOOO much fun!!! But a pretty weird thought knowing that I could go to prom this year...(:

After having a complete and total blast doing that, we went to see "The Odd Life of Timothy Green". Such a sweet and cute movie!!! (Warning: there's a possibility you will cry...I totally did...but don't let that stop you from seeing it! :))
Then, we drove U Swirl to have some frozen yogurt. Yummy!! :D

So, even though the evening turned out COMPLETELY different than I had expected, we still had a ton of fun!! :D
Alright, so these are the highlights from my actual birthday, or the third day of my Junior year of High School:
One of my fantastic friends told my choir teacher, Mrs. Warby, that it was my birthday. So, at the beginning of class, she made me stand up so the ENTIRE choir could sing to me. After I sat back down, she said, "So, how old are you turning today?" Immediately after I said, "16" she told me to stand up again. I protested, but she wasn't going to take "no" for an answer. Then, she turned to the boys, and said, "Boys, she is now on the market." It was kind of embarrassing...not as bad as it could have been, though. (: (Thank goodness!!)
At lunch, another one of my fantastic friends brought a plate of treats, and the group we were eating lunch with, all sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It was so sweet! (:
During the evening, my family and I drove up to Salt Lake to go to City Creek. (It was my first time ever and I LOVED it!!!) My mom and I went shopping for a little while, and then we all met up to go to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was DELICIOUS!!! When it came time to order dessert, my mom told our waiter that it was my sweet 16th birthday today. He got my name, wrote it down, and a few minutes later he brought out an 'Oreo Dream Supreme' piece of cheesecake with "Happy Birthday Brianna" written in chocolate on the outside of the plate, as well as a lit candle on top. It looked beautiful! He had also rounded up several other guy waiters, and they all sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It was so funny! :D
Afterwards, I got a key chain at Claire's! I can't get my license until this Wednesday, September 26th, but I am SO EXCITED to start driving on my own!! :D
So, that's it for my birthday - sorry it's a month late!!
