Choir Tour (Days 4 & 5)

DAY 4...Disneyland again!!

This time we left earlier, but that meant more time in Disneyland, so it was fantastic!! :D

First stop: Cars Land
We had a blast there!! It is just the cutest! And it feels like you are right in the movie!! :)

Cars Ride...Gotta love those faces ;)

Rachel, me, and Noah...not sure what he's doing...

PHINEAS AND FERB!!! LOVE THESE GUYS!! :) :)

Next stop: Grizzly Bear River Run

Selfie!! :D

We went on it two times in a row...the second time we all got pretty soaked...:)

Sleeping Beauty's castle. Just beautiful, isn't it? Oh and we're there too haha :)
We stayed there until about 9:30 at night and then travelled back to the hotel to get some rest before the early morning.

DAY 5...Going Home!
We left at about 5:30 am and I slept most of the way until we stopped at Golden Corral for lunch around 1:00.  On the second stretch, we watched "Remember the Titans" and "How to Train your Dragon".  Classics.  It was a long ride, but still fun. :)

And finally we arrived safely back home!! And back to good old and cold Utah! haha :)

A bunch of happy but sleep deprived choir kids...
Noah, Breanna, me, Jessica, Rachel, and Danielle

Well, that's it folks.  Thanks for reading about this adventure of mine! :) It was sad to see it come to an end, but this is when you have to remember: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." :D

Lots of Love,
Brianna <3

Choir Tour (Day 3)

For those of us who wanted to, we had the option to attend church at 11.  It was fast and testimony meeting, and it was a really neat experience being there in a completely different ward. The spirit was so strong and I especially loved hearing the testimony of my amazing choir teacher. :)

After church, we drove back to the hotel to pick up everyone else, and then we ate lunch (sandwiches from Togos).  Once we ate, we were off to the Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles.

Touching an actual asteroid!! :D
The museum was kind of interesting, but we got bored after a little while and we started taking pictures with all the animals...sadly, that was the only way we could entertain ourselves...oh, and sneaking up on all of the CTR's (Choir Tour Romances) and taking pictures of them.  Sadly, my dear friend Emily is the only one who has those pictures captured.  Anyway, back to the animals...

Me with the polar bear

Kayleigh with the tiger

Noah with the...uh...I think it's an ostrich...

Llama llama

Emily with the cheetah
After the museum, we ate dinner at a buffet and then returned to the hotel.

Later that night, the girls in our room had a girls night and kind of went crazy...we were all laughing hysterically.  It was the best :)

Until next time...
Thanks for reading!!

Choir Tour (Day 2)

First thing in the morning, we boarded the buses dressed in our choir uniforms to go perform our songs at the festival.  The festival took place in an area with different churches, which was a cool experience because two of the choirs I sang in got to sing in a chapel.  How cool is that?  Festival was awesome.  We had some of our best performances EVER and it felt absolutely amazing. :D  After we finished, we changed into our tour t-shirts and got back onto the buses to head to....DISNEYLAND!!!! :D :D :D :D

Rachel and I SUPER DUPER excited for Disneyland!!!

On our way...aboard the tram to take us into the park
As soon as we got there, we jumped right into line and starting riding rides.  It was an absolute blast. :) :)

Tower of Terror...take a minute to enjoy the faces of all the teenagers in the gray shirts :)

California Screamin'

Mickey's Fun Wheel

Soarin' Over California...I LOVE this ride!! :D
After Soarin', we headed back over to Disneyland for the awards ceremony.  Mickey and Minnie were even a part of it! :)

We won several awards, which was awesome! Afterwards, it was back into the park to find dinner and ride more rides! :)

Dole Whip Float: Yum Yum :D

Dinner...at about 9:00...better late than never, right?

Emily, Kayleigh, Danielle (the one with the corn dog ;)), Marissa, Noah, and I

The famous $6 corndog...worth every penny ;)

Lighting McQueen!! A sight to see in Cars Land :)
At 11:00 pm, we got back onto the bus to ride back to the hotel.  It had been a fantastic, long, super fun day, but we were beat.  It was SO worth it though!!

Well, that's the end of Day 2!! :D

Choir Tour - Anaheim, CA (Day 1)

5:00 am: Arrival at the high school to board the tour buses and begin the drive to California. I got on the bus and as soon as we started driving, I crashed. This was due to the earliness of the morning and having gone to bed at about 1:30 am. :P

We stopped in Cedar City to do a choral exchange at the high school.  Afterwards, we ate lunch, and kept on driving.

Oh the adventures of the bus ride there. . .

Rachel and I in our silliness :)

After several stops along the way, we made to Balboa Beach.  We got there just as the sun was setting and it was beautiful.

Jessica, me, our lovely chaperone Sister Paulson, and Breanna

On the pier: Noah, me, Kayleigh, Emily, Jessica, and Breanna
(Gotta love our wind blown hair ;))
We got our feet wet (even though the water was really cold), ate delicious sandwiches at a restaurant near the beach, then boarded the buses once again to drive to the hotel.

After we arrived at our hotel, I was waiting for the elevator with the other girls. All of the sudden, the ground started to shake. Things around me were moving and rattling and I had no idea what was going on. This went on for maybe 5 seconds, and then it stopped. Someone said, "That was an earthquake." What?? I hadn't even registered that's what was going on. Later we found out it measured to be a 5.1. Pretty crazy stuff. Well, at least I can say I have lived through an earthquake. Haha :)

Later, we had a girls night and watched "Say Yes to the Dress" and "Something Borrowed, Something New".  It was the best!! :D

Me, Emily, Jesscia, and Marissa

That's it for day 1 of this California adventure!
To be continued...:)

Morp 2014

Morp 2014: the LAST girls' choice dance of my high school career!! Crazy?? Yeah, I think so. Because of this, I knew I absolutely could not let this pass by and not ask anyone. So I asked a really great guy named Craig. (Side note: (I didn't find this out until after I had asked him) CRAZY connection he and I have--we both have had brain surgery done by the same neurosurgeon!! I'm tellin' ya, it's a small world! :))

My mom and I went to Little Caesar's and asked them to spell out "MORP?" on a pizza with pepperoni. (Not the most neatest, but hey :))

My little brother was an awesome sport and took it up to the door for me.  A few nights later, this shows up on our doorstep:

Awesome, right? I loved it! :)

So the theme for this year's MORP was "It's a Jungle Out There".  It took a while to finally figure out what Craig and I were going to wear, but at last, Wal-Mart came to my rescue. :)

Saturday, March 22nd, we picked up all of the guys to go take pictures at a nursery/wedding reception place close by.  It was perfect because it was full of all of this greenery that looked just like, well, a jungle! :D

Craig & I

Just the girls: Marissa, me, Kayleigh, Emily, and Candace

Just the guys: Tyler, Cal, Craig, Jack, and Bryce

This one makes me laugh...Emily wanted that hunter shot so bad ;)

This one makes me laugh too! This was the sign right outside of the place
we took pictures...it was just too funny not to take a picture next to ;) haha

After pictures, we went to Emily's house for games and dinner. It was fantastic! :) Afterwards, we headed over to the high school for the dance, which was a super fun.  Following the dance, we headed to Marissa's for a campfire which included s'mores and roasted Starbursts.  That concluded the last girls' choice dance of high school, and it was a blast!! :) Craig was an awesome date, and our group was super fun. What a great way to finish out the girls' choice dances for high school!! :D

Thanks for reading!
Have an amazing day!!

Brianna :)
