I realize my last post had to do with temples as well, but I wanted to post about something a little bit different this time. I wanted to talk about temple marriage. :) Last Saturday, I went to my cousin's wedding up in Logan, Utah. This was a traditional wedding, it was outside, and it was performed by and LDS bishop. It made me think about marriage a little bit deeper. It was a sweet ceremony, but you could just feel that something was missing. I was happy for my cousin and his, now, wife, but I was sad that they couldn't experience the joy the comes from marrying in the temple. I reflected on the commitment I have made to not settle for anything less than a temple marriage.
Here are a few quotes and other thoughts that I wanted to share with you:

My future castle :) |
"Now, my young friends
who are in your teenage years, always have the temple in your sights.
Do nothing which will keep you from entering its doors and partaking of
the sacred and eternal blessings there." - President Thomas S. Monson -
"If you marry the
right person and if you marry in the right place, then you will have an
infinitely better chance of happiness throughout all eternity." -
Spencer W. Kimball -
"There
is nothing that has come or will come into your family as important as
the sealing blessings. There is nothing more important than honoring the
marriage and family covenants you have made or will make in the temples
of God." - Henry B. Eyring -
Something I learned
from EFY: If I knew how beautiful being married and sealed in the temple
was, I wouldn't let ANYTHING get in the way.
Don't settle for ANYTHING less than a temple marriage! (:
